Today we decided to head back into the city and see the bits we didn’t get to see from our first day.
We headed straight for the river but this time went the other way. We found a few bars and cafes and a pier that offered boat trips. We also went to look at the bell tower, then went for a walk along the river before heading back to the esplanade for a beer in the little shag pub.
We then had some lunch before jumping on one on the many free buses that goes round the city and heading to the harbour town shopping centre which didn’t turn out to be very excited, it was just like a discount shopping centre.
After the excitement of the day we decided we would head back and dine in, as Marty who is a pastry chef and had brought us some meat pies. So it was pie and chips for tea u:-)
