We booked a taxi pickup to take us from the Abloom apartments to the air port. We actually booked it in Bangkok, during one of the tours. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend booking through these guys unless you at least have an idea of what you are expecting to pay and know the deal they are offering you is actually good. We just had a few small sections of our journey to Koh Samui that we had not got around to booking. We therefore ended up booking a few transfers between the hotels we had already booked ourselves. Although we probably could have done it cheaper it would have been much more hassle and not really that much cheaper! We also booked one night in hotel room with them but is just a quick stop over so not too bothered if not the best, its in chaweng resort but will let you know when we get there what it’s like!
Anyway taxi turned up on time, well a bit early actually but was happy just to wait for us and then got us to airport within 45 mins and in plenty of time for our Bangkok airways flight to Koh Samui. Sky train would be much cheaper and quicker method especially at busy times and station is directly outside abloom apartments, see my other post about getting to sky train.
