Exploring Kata beach

Today we decided to go back to kata beach and have a walk around and do a bit of shopping. Martin bought some more genuine fake Oakley sunglasses for only £3 this time!! Let’s see if they last any longer! We then decided to take a walk on the beach, on the way down we were stopped and asked to fill in a survey about holidays and the guy didn’t want to sell us anything so we obliged as it only took a couple of minutes, then carried onto the beach. We took a walk to the far end of the beach and decided to go to a bar and have a drink. It was called Ska bar and had more staff than customers but had a nice view and free wifi! While we were having a drink it decided to rain so we stayed a bit longer while the rain to pass. We then walked back to the other end of Kata, having a look in an indoor market but didn’t make any purchases this time.

We had some lunch in a place called wine collection restaurant which was a very nice place, then headed back on the last bus at 4.40.

In the evening we went to the buffalo steakhouse for tea, which had just opened as it had been closed since June. The steaks were amazing and not too badly priced at £10 for a ribeye and £12 for a fillet. Plus they had cheap wine and beer!!
