Fremantle and little creatures brewery

Today we decided to head to Fremantle for the day, so got a bus into the city than a train to freo(as the locals call it)! The whole journey took about an hour.

So we headed for a look around the shopping area first and after looking in a few shops, we came across a sign that said free exhibition, so we decided to go in and turns out it was a pretty depressing but interesting exhibition about psychology. So after coming out feeling rather depressed, we had a look round the rest of the shops then decided it was time for lunch.

After lunch we walked down to the Esplanade and found lots of fish and chip restaurants and also came across the little creatures brewery, but instead of going in for a drink(unusually I know!!) we decided to have a walk around the rest of the harbour first, which was a really nice little area. Then it was time to head back to the brewery and we made it just in time to go on a free tour!!

So the guy took us around and told us about how beer is made and the history of the little creatures brewery then at the end we had a free tasting session, which pleased martin but not me as I can’t stand beer, although I tried some just to be polite;-) there was also a little creatures cider which was quite nice! After having some free samples we decided to go and purchase some of what we had just tried in their bar next door while enjoying the view of the harbour.

We then had a little bit more of a walk along the beaches and around the town before deciding to go for tea at cicerellos fish and chip shop on the harbour front. The fish and chips were really nice, but no mushy peas:-(
