Today we decided to catch the bus to kata beach, which is the next beach along from us. After getting off the bus and having a little walk around we decided to have a drink at a bar on the beach and yes Martin had a Chang beer for a change;-). We then decided to go back to a crazy golf park we had passed earlier and had a game. It was called Kata beach Dino park mini golf, so guessing it was going to be a bit Jurassic. It was an 18 hole course and was pretty cool with all the dinosaurs placed around the course and a couple of caves!! It was pretty close, in the end, i lost beat me by 1 point!!
After all the excitement of crazy golf, we walked a little further into kata and discovered another beach where a surf comp was being held! Getting back to Karon wasn’t quite as straightforward as getting here, waited about 30 minutes before a bus appeared by which time we had almost walked back ;). Tonight tea was not quite a pleasurable as the previous, food was really nice and good price but the staff was miserable and our mains turned up before our starters. You kind of have to expect this to some extent, they bring out food as it is ready but usually if it a starter it comes at least a few seconds earlier. Martin actually prefers it like this, better than having the food sit somewhere else waiting to come to the table in a specific order, but im still getting my head around it. I want my starters first then a rest them my mains:-) Food was nice though
Getting back to Karon
